RHA Senate

Whenever students wish to change something about living in the Residence Halls, or Hall Governments or other student organizations want to request for additional funds for programming or conferences, the RHA Senate is the place to go. The RHA Senate Chair resides over weekly meetings in which these matters are debated and resolved. Not only do these Senators represent the students' interests in such matters, but they also make up an integral part of every Hall's Government. They bring news back to the hall governments about what events unfolded at each weekly meeting while also taking the Hall Government's, and thus the students', concerns back to the Senate.

One of the main jobs of the RHA Senator is to write legislation. There are two types of legislation: a bill, which can provide monetary or physical support, and a resolution, which recommends changes which would affect the residence halls, dining options, parking, or any other aspects of campus living.

On behalf of the entire RHA Senate I would like to thank you for visiting the RHA Senate webpage. Our goal here is to provide easy access to the Senators that represent your halls and the legislation that they have discussed, debated, and voted on in the past and the present.
